MWM prides itself in providing a positive relationship with its customers. Consultation with clients enables MWM to understand clearly their needs and MWM’s work is tailored to meeting these needs.

Preparation

MWM is meticulous in preparing surfaces to be painted to ensure a high quality finish for clients. Filling of holes, cracks in plaster or severe damage to plaster, followed by sanding, ensures all surfaces to be painted are smooth. Prior to commencing painting, MWM will ensure all surfaces are clean and will carefully cover all furniture and floor coverings.

Number of coats

In consultation with clients, MWM will determine the number of coats necessary to produce a top quality finish. MWM usually recommends a minimum of two coats and if necessary a primer, depending on the condition of the surface to be painted. MWM will always discuss whether clients wish to use enamel (ie oil based paint) or water based paint and whether full gloss, semi gloss or flat paint is desired.

Quotations

MWM will provide clients with a fixed quote with no surprises for the customer once work has commenced. MWM will also provide an estimate of how long a particular project will take to complete.

Supply of paint

MWM offers clients the choice of providing the paint themselves or for MWM to provide high quality paint(usually Haymes or Dulux paints).

Staining

When clients require surfaces to be stained, MWM will wash the surfaces and will provide sufficient coats to ensure a quality finish.

Concrete painting

MWM will wash concrete surfaces before painting. Sufficient coats will be applied to ensure a quality finish.

Weather conditions

MWM will always take into consideration prevailing weather conditions when painting exterior surfaces. In extreme heat or extreme cold conditions, MWM will not undertake any painting as temperatures must be optimal for the paint to dry properly.

Job satisfaction

When a job is completed clients will be asked to inspect the work and any ‘touch ups’ will be done if required by the client. MWM prides itself in making sure its clients are satisfied and indeed pleased with the high standard of work completed.
